This review is for Bill Jew at Cornerstone restoration. After a bad hail storm hit our town, we were bombarded by dozens of desperate storm chasers, all saying the same BS. We were so frustrated and didn't trust any of them. Finally I contacted a friend who had previously gone through the same thing and he strongly recommended calling Bill Jew. Soon after meeting with Bill, we quickly felt very comfortable and I knew that we were now in good hands. Bill was very respectful, extremely nice, seemed very trustworthy and incredibly knowledgeable. He thoroughly guided us through the entire insurance process and his team of adjusters got ALL our damages approved. Our house is only 7 years old, but Bill pointed out all the midrange quality and outdated roofing materials that were originally used. With Bill's recommendations we chose to upgrade our Roof to landmark pro shingles, ridge vents and bigger downspouts and we couldn't be more satisfied with the amazing results. The Cornerstone roofing crew did an outstanding job and Bill was surprisingly there the entire time supervising the project as if it was his own house. Bill also did extra work by climbing into our attic to correct our bathroom exhaust issues. The project was done promptly and our property was left spotless. Our whole neighborhood got new roofs, but the details, the materials and craftsmanship on our house is by far the Best looking! We have hired a lot of contractors in the past, but no better than Bill Jew and Cornerstone. We recently completed a roof and siding replacement project with Cornerstone Restoration. We worked with Alex M, who was diligent and thorough throughout the entire process, including working with our insurance company. Alex went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with the work throughout the construction, and was on site making sure that everything was completed as we planned. He constantly followed up by communicating next steps and keeping us informed through the entire process.

Over the past year, we have had at least 8 different salespeople knock on our front door telling us that in recent storms, our house sustained damage. Each of them explaining how they could help us deal with insurance and give our house a fresher, more updated look. Bill Jew, Restoration Director at Cornerstone Restoration offered his help and advice as to our situation, and, in fact, did find significant wind and hail damage affecting both the roof and siding of our house. From the time Bill inspected and photographed our home, to filing our insurance claim and working with the insurance company, to supervising the installation of a new, up to code roof, new siding and gutters and downspouts, we have been extremely pleased-not just with the results, but the entire process. They came when they said they would. They let us know what they needed from us, which was not much and they cleaned up after each step and installation. We would highly recommend Bill Jew and his crews from Cornerstone Restoration if you are contemplating replacing your roof or hoping for a face lift of your home. He was honest to us from the beginning, the work crews were more than competent and very professional and in these days that we live, that integrity is worth so much more than we can say or appreciate. I am a Buffalo Grove homeowssner for 33 years and I want to share a great experience I recently had with Bill Jew at Cornerstone Restoration. One of their canvassers knocked on my door and offered me a roof inspection and at first I was reluctant with trusting anyone, but I agreed. The next day I met the storm Manager Bill Jew. Bill Jew was an extremely professional expert in construction and he was very patient in walking me through the entire insurance claim process. After he thoroughly inspected my house he determined that I had adequate Hail damage on both my Roof and Siding and we filed the insurance claim. Bill Jew then navigated the entire claim process and the Cornerstone Restoration Team over came all the difficulties with Allstate Insurance Companyand successfully got my clAIm fully approved. After negotiating the highest claim amounts they were able to give me top quality materials and workmanship. They even upgraded my roof ventilation and replaced my very old skylight! Their crews were very professional, fast and very clean. In fact I was going through a lot of medical issues and was unable to do any yard work for a while and my property was like a jungle. Bill Jew was unbelievable, he went above the call of duty and completely cut all my grass and trimmed all the brushesand even painted my old ulgy front door. Jacob Oakley from Cornerstone Restoration was wonderful to work with. At the beginning of the project when we were making product and design decisions he was always quick to respond to our requests for siding and trim samples. He also showed us many suggestions and examples of what other people had done to give us the information that we needed for our project. When the project was underway there were some delays due to product availability and Jacob was always quick to keep us in the loop of the current status.
All being said it was a great experience working with Jacob and Cornerstone Restoration team (installation crew, Jeff and Jason). We’re happy how it all turned out.

After a bad Hailstorm severely damaged our Church Roof we appointed Bill Jew to represent us with our Insurance Claim. After reporting all the damages to the Insurance Company, they surprisingly denied the approval for our Church Roof replacement. However, with the persistent hard work and determination of Bill Jew and the team of Cornerstone we prevailed and our Insurance Company agreed to fully cover the cost of the entire Church Roof. As soon as the approval was secured, Bill patiently guided us through all the various color choices and other roofing options. With the generosity of Bill Jew and Cornerstone Restoration the Church received upgraded Roof Shingles, added advanced ridge ventilation, and aluminum metal valley channels were installed, significantly enhancing the quality and longevity of our roof. The end results were magnificent! The Cornerstone Crew had professionally completed our enormous roof in only 3 days and the workmanship was Superior. Incredibly, Bill Jew was present to oversee the entire project from start to finish, despite having major surgery only a few weeks prior, what great dedication and passion Bill had demonstrated!
